The Old Folks Home

Ok, here's one for you. Never got a phone call back about that ultra sound for his prostate...I noticed I posted the wrong thing back there! Fixed it! His prostate in question because it's doubled in size this past year. Anyway, I call the office to see if I could get results. A girl calls back ..sounds like she may have bad news because she keeps hesitating. Finally she says,. they did an ultrasound in the wrong area. They did his testicles. 😳. Now the Dr wants it done right of course. Poor Scott will go in again. He's embarrassed with these ultra sounds. And, who's got to pay for that mistake? Not us! Thing is, it will be mostly covered by ins. 🙄 And I mean mostly.
It is good that you are on them to get things right!

Yeah, I have been taking it easy. Today I made the window frame for the left side of the play house, as well as for the front window where the nest box will go.
I put the door on hinges, and installed the screen in the right hand side window. You can see the former door sitting in front of the playhouse. It's too small to keep varmints out.View attachment 2048318
It is really starting to look good!

I'd love to score one of those, Cap. I so badly need a broody room. One of those would be cramped but perfect.

@ronott1 I cram my 10 lb bags of flour in our refrigerator freezer which I mainly use to keep our ice cream in. Our frig is smallish but will hold 4 gallon tubs of ice cream in the freezer.

Ice cube trays are kept on a wire rack. I usually shuffle one or two gallons of ice cream to the big freezer and then cram the flour in. Some times I have to tape the door shut but by golly it works and is just for 48 hours. If I have room in the upright freezer I put it there.

Trust me, it's worth the hassle.

@Cynthia12. They made the mistake. They should comp you the procedure. I'd sure stress that fact to them.

I sure hate to hear that your husband is going through all of that. Poor guy. Has he had a PSA done and if so has it changed in the past year?

@perchie.girl! Congratulations. They are so adorable. Did you get all six? And what are your plans with them?
Naw just thought they were cute, You never know what you will find on Craigslist here. Flamingos, Emus, Ostridges, Kookaburra, You name it. Its interesting that there are breeders all over San Diego that supply to zoos.

I have no inclination to get into ratites. I would love to have some of their shells though I may buy some Blown shells some time to do artwork. Those black shells have several layers of color and they lend themselves to stunning artwork.
