Two of the silky are broody sitting on eggs just 4 have one good strong peep from the incubator so far gave her a bit of nutri drench

Went up to Santa Fe yesterday to water the yard. Grape hyacinths are coming out, so deep purple splotches in the front yard. Some bug crawled up my leg and bit/stung the extreme uppermost inner thigh. Big red welt and swelling. I think the universe is telling me to be grounded on the sofa...

Standing in the yard this morning I noticed small gray birds (nuthatches?) flitting about the birch tree. Every time they lit on a branch a big cloud of pollen would be produced and drift. Our area is having a pollen alert posted, but I just thought it was from all the stone fruit trees in bloom.

Two hatches happening soon-ish: One on Palm Sunday and then another for the Easter Hatch-Along. It's beginning to feel a lot like Spring!
