The Old Folks Home

Oh and I hope to revamp the lighting in the kitchen. I want pendant lights over the peninsula and task lighting over the stove and drawers. Also need a new Range hood and Rethinking back splash concept.

The counters will be butcher block. Easiest to get hold of and working with them will be easier as well. Nice stain and about four coats of spar varnish to protect them.

I found a source for Broken Talovera tiles by the pound and I am going to experiment with them do see how well I do. If I like the results that will be my back splash as well as a decorative free form mosaic along the wall. Right now there is no color.

White Shaker Cabinets All plywood construction with Maple doors. Then wood look floors. As well as Wood butcher block counters. Stainless Refrigerator and sink Black stove and Dishwasher. Kind of like a blank slate. Which I will color with wall hangings and art.

I can't wait to see before and after pictures!

Gas still $2.30 gal here, which is still pretty cheap just not as low as most states
(taxes are 45.6cents a gal here).
Went to town today with DW had to pick up some stuff, and chicken feed...
Didn't give the beard net a try DW found a red bandana so went bankrobber style, just missing the cowboy hat lol. DW made a bunch of masks but all kinda small for me and girlie colors.
