I know all the days seem the same but it is actually Friday @microchickHope you all have a nice Thursday.
My FIL decided to stop dialysis about a month ago. His last treatment was on Monday and he passed on Friday. It was sad, but he was done and with the COVID restrictions he had nothing to look forward to but "GD dialysis!". Prayers for you & your sis.Going to post in a few places....Glad I got my sister home from the nursing home before anything could get started there with the virus. A few nursing homes have it going through. She's in transition now. Only a short time left. Glad I could have her here to spoil her. I'm going to miss that sweet giggle of hers. Prayers that this part can go smoothly for her..she's had it more rough than some having stopped dialysis. 5 weeks yesterday. Keeping her sleepy. This is hard.
2.7 inches isn't that bad for here. We've had two times where we have had over 6 inches in 12 hours. Once we know we got more because our rain gauge stops at 6 inches but has a gap at the top. One thing I can say about Missouri is that when it sets its mind to it, it can throw one heck of a storm!micro -- you got more rain in one night than we've had in the interim between Oct 2019 and now! Wow.
Hugs to both Cynthia and Spartacus. So very hard and sad.![]()
I always have a drink in my hand or nearby. I will add lemonade to my assortment of drinks. Been hatching chicks, running around selling them, then hatching more.@Cynthia12 I know what you are going through is tough and you are grieving for your sister already. I pray that her journey is an easy one and you are given the strength to support her. And yes, it is hard but the sleepiness is a blessing. Remember that it is alright to cry and mourn, and please take care of yourself. Remember we care about you here at the home.
@CapricornFarm, I found with my Lyme disease that I was more susceptible to getting sick for a long while. Lyme compromises your immune system and yes, antibiotics can make you tired. Many have fatigue as a side effect. Remember to drink a lot of water, preferably laced with lemon as it helps flush the buggies out of your system.
We got 2.7 inches of rain overnight. It poured off and on with lots of gusty wind and lightening. It is just grey outside right now like twilight but the radar is clear for the time being. They say more rain and storms starting tonight again and lasting through the weekend. The sound of the frogs is deafening this morning from the woods and the creek on our property edge. Pretty cool to hear.
Hope you all have a nice Friday.
