The Old Folks Home

Dang! And you? Did you get home ok?
Yup, only few miles from home. Dealt with no brakes many times here in tons of salt on the road NY winters. Hate it when it happens in winter and I have people come up behind me and probably think I don't know how to drive in the snow going so slow and move over let them by 😆
First gear down the hills try not to use the brakes unless I have to hoping if I do need to I have some fluid left. Really makes me miss standard transmissions.

So true!

Random question.... like.... REALLY random!!

Are regular storage totes like the plastic type waterproof???? Or would I need to buy a special safe or something??? I wanna put something in the woods and don’t want it to get wet or damaged or anything like that.
Some are and some aren't water proof. It depends on the seal and how much rain there is

Thanks!!! That’s good to know!!! So I guess I should maybe find something different??
There are some containers meant for keeping grains air tight that might work.

You cannot guarantee what the sun and freezing will do to plastic though. They might not make outside for more than a season

That’s a good idea!!! Thanks!! I think we actually have one. :D

It wouldn’t be for long. Just for like a few weeks or month or two at most.

Depending on what you want to store, will it fit in a large pvc pipe? You can get them in some pretty big internal diameters and put a 'cap' on both ends. If you want it to be truly water proof you can glue them together using PVC cement of course you will have to cut it open when you want to get what's inside but yes, they are water proof that way.
