The Old Folks Home

That is quite a distance from water! I knew they laid their eggs out of water but wow, that is a long way for the babies to hike back.

I don't believe the physicians HAD him taking it, I think they ALLOWED it when he said he wanted to. Not quite the same thing.

"Key findings are:

  • No cardiac toxicity was observed.
  • A good clinical outcome and virological cure was obtained in 973 patients within 10 days (91.7%).
A poor outcome was observed for 46 patients (4.3%); 10 were transferred to intensive care units, 5 patients died (0.47%) (74-95 years old) and 31 required 10 days of hospitalization or more."

I'm sorry but how is that showing that Hydroxychloroquine helps? That "poor outcome" number is no better than "the average for all cases".

I think they help protect people FROM the diseased mask wearer, not the mask wearer from the diseased. Given there are so many non symptomatic people and so few tested I suspect it does help slow the spread of Covid.

So you are saying that instead of ripping out that invasive mint (who knew???) I should be potting it up and placing it near other plants? Does it work for cucumber beetles?

I can't say which one's it keeps away. But I don't see any on my veggies when I go out there to pick. It' won't hurt to try it.

I've actually been pretty lucky most my life, reminds me of a Clint Eastwood western quote πŸ˜†
Only accidents I've been in have been in parking lots. First, grocery store moving through parking spots had my head cranked admiring a '69 Camaro entered the next aisle BAM!, hit a car front end caved in.
So sorry my fault have ins, so sorry my bad we can get ahold of my ins company, guy says no big deal not bad, I say looks bad to me! He says nah... fender was already caved in you might have added the little dent in the front
Next accident, should have never happened. Was gutting our bathroom had a bad water leak in a wall, turned into a total gut bathroom job. We have a second bathroom but no shower or bath for a couple weeks. DW went to town doing a little shopping. Me home working.
I thought I could run to town quick without her knowledge and buy beer, no big deal she's gone will never know. Bought the beer went back outside and a young dude says to me "I think I might have backed into your car maybe"
Nah you didn't, better not have.
Backed into my car? You think?!!! My good god!, rear quarter caved in and tail light busted and hanging to the ground... I unleashed a series of expletives that should never be repeated..
That kid was scared, offered to pay for the damage in cash or ins.
"I'm not worried about the car you idiot, my wife is going to KILL me, I'm not supposed to be here!!!"
Yeah it didn't go over good with DW...
:yuckyuck:lau Thanks for the morning laugh!

Sounds like you have it down pat: Happy wife, happy life!
