Fire zone next to the store, yeah 'no parking' but it was the only shade in the lot so I don't think anyone would object to one spot being occupied. Not like the owner could leave the vehicle running AC for the dogs. It was hot mid 80s.
The dogs were cool as could be, like they were used to it posing for pics, several other people taking pics like I was. They were like "hey hey check out this side, my better side, yeah yeah look at me take a pic"
Lot's of times I see old people park there and drop off spouse and wait, no one complains. Small town not like it's a Wal-Mart.

Dh is not isolating in the bedroom. We all discussed it. He's been sick for at least a couple days. All of us have already been exposed for that long, so it seems a moot point for him to be quarantined in the bedroom.

I did start taking Sambucol today. That won't interfere with anything else I might need to take, if needed.

Thank you sweetie, I wish I could take Fosamax. After the 2nd dose I knew my stomach wasn't going to tolerate it. I can sympathize with you as far as your cardiac concerns. About 2 years after being diagnosed with rheumatic fever, I started noticing that when I went to bed at night and relaxed, I was getting an irregular heart rate. Speed up, slow down, get irregular. Made me afraid to go to sleep. I had run of paroxysmal Atrial tachycardia while in the hospital. I went to the doctor and my pulse was regular. About a month later, I woke up with the same thing. Went to the doc and they did a cardiogram. Sure enough, it showed the arrhythmia. They started me on beta blockers that day. 1978. I've been on them ever since. Pretty well controlled except when I get too much flack from my stomach....like taking fosamax then it reminds me who is really in charge.

They will get this figured out for you. Hang in there. The good news is that your heart isn't in bad shape for the shape it is in and bad valves can cause all sorts of weird symptoms.

The Holter Monitor that they are putting you on will tell them a lot....just remember that if they are doing real time telemetry if you lose a lead they WILL call you in the middle of the night and ask you if you are still alive.

The monitor is a Bio Tel monitor. I hope it's small!
I'm hoping it will be some easy fix. I'm just tired of it now. Dh is to. I have to keep the head of the bed up so high that I'm nearly sitting straight up to sleep. Dh winds up nearly sideways in the bed.

Micro sorry you were not able to take the fosimax.
It's wonderful that you got a Dr. that helped you so quickly with your heart problems. So you don't have to deal with it any longer. It is scary.

Just FYI: It's not uncommon for heart to do a bit of tachycardia upon laying down. Has to do with the change in blood pressure elevation from vertical to horizontal as the body evens out. BUT that is why they suggest not having a heart attack cardiac episode patient lay down while waiting for help as it'll exacerbate irregular rhythms.

Sister had to wear the heart monitor thingy for a bit...like a big walkie-talkie strapped to her. She says now they have vests which are less cumbersome. I think her athleticism has kept her heart defect from being a severe problem. For as many maladies as she has suffered, she is really fit. Even her dog is on a heart monitor occasionally to check his murmer (young and very active cattledog mix). The two are made for each other!
