I believe one is required to learn "Tiny Bubbles" as their first ukulele song.
I should totally do it nowThat may well be true!
Thank you! That makes me feel better haha I know I have to just keep practicing but now I have a lot less interest this morning after realizing I suckKDOGG331 -- Practice makes perfect. Heck, even Picasso had a church basement full of attempted paintings before churning out his masterpieces. (Said paintings the church sold to support itself. My in-laws had one and for a few dollars more over purchase price the seller would go next door and have Pablo sign it. True story!)
Chickadoodles -- That is so wrong. And in the age of uber-expensive medical care we've got, it could at least be competent medical care. I hope the situation is resolved quickly for you.
It seems a trend these days that dissatisfied/disenfranchised folks take a 180 in careers. I know several Wall Street types that ditched the suits, enrolled in Cordon Bleu, and are now happily keeping the same hours but making pastry and baked goods. Another techie type left his Apple job and now carves Tiki poles. DH took a sabbatical from counseling to drive a warehouse forklift. These folks all had job burnout after a 3 to 5 year stint and rather than bounce yet again to another employer, decided to pursue what made them happy. (I think they had bankrolled a bit, too, in case things didn't work out.) I ditched court reporting and ventured into home renovation for a bit. Why? Nobody ever says "Thank you. What a great transcript!" But flipping a house, well, you know the buyer is happy with your end result or they wouldn't invest in it. The renovation is HARD work, though. I'm old. Did a few and done. My knees may never forgive all the ladder work. Oh, well. On to quieter pursuits and more naps.
don't be embarrassed - it's very catchy! thanks for postingThe funny thing is I’ve heard it several times before and always loved it so I’m not really sure what exactly it was about this specific time that made me want to play it![]()
maybe because it sounded easy enough to learn? Idk
It’s a little bit embarrassing but this is the song haha
Yeah that’s true! And I think that was part of my problem. I think I got a bit burnt out or whatever I guess and it was kinda stressfulWell, the flipside: Turning one's passion into a business can take all the fun out of it.
But do it for you, Kdogg331. It doesn't matter if you suck if YOU get satisfaction out of it. Remember who's driving your train.![]()
Glad you liked itdon't be embarrassed - it's very catchy! thanks for posting![]()
