@penny1960, I've always heard to put a saucer of beer in your garden. The slugs love it....but it kills them.

Ever salt a slug? Too cool....in a gross sort of sci fi horror way.

Uke's are a snap to play. DH got us a pair for Christmas about 4 years ago when it became hard for me to bang around on my guitar. I LOVE my uke. No tiny bubbles here. Our favorite duet is "Sunshine of Your Love" It sounds sooooo cool.

Bad day here. Cat has urinary tract infection. We came to this conclusion when he started peeing all over the house. I'm working on my 4th load of laundry thanks to Sir Sprays-a-lot. Meanwhile, he's on antibiotics and a short leash. I really love the guy but he's 8 and been doing this off and on since he was less than a year old. Kinda gettin old and there is no cure. In the mean time, the furniture is covered in plastic and all of the animals are giving me a wide space.

I hope he gets better quickly!

Nope, no fun at all for any of us. Poor baby. He felt pretty warm this afternoon. Tonight he felt cooler when we gave him his evening antibiotic so I hope he's better by morning.

I finally got the laundry all done at 8pm.

Oldest is 21, 22 in the fall.... but he is NOT mature...he needs another 10 years.
