chicka, The first time, it's awful. Do take some Sombucol Black Elderberry. It's actually been researched by the FDA. It does have some decent broad spectrum anti-viral properties. It has less side effects, mainly nausea and diarrhea, which is why pediatricians recommend it over Tamiflu, in many instances, especially for Covid. (You might see if you can get it, and consider Hydroxychloroquine, regardless of the controversy about it.)

Thanks Clue. I have some Elderberry jam and syrup. I bought it a year ago from Norms Farms who grows Elderberries commercially. And sells his Elderberry products to grocery stores now.
I did a lot of research on Elderberries and planted a couple plants so I can make my own jam and syrup. I am not going to a dr. office. I am to sick to get out right now. I will have to take the test next week before surgery.

DH and I just had our date with the dentist. First time this year we've been able to get our teeth checked. They were all masked up and taking our temps. DH had his blood pressure taken; I did not, for some reason. (Good checkups. Hygienist commented I must be flossing everyday. Me, "What else is there to do with my time?" I swear, this Covid is rejuvenating... I feel like I'm 13 again and grounded, *except* I didn't do any malfeasance to warrant banishing to my room.

Clue thanks for bring up the Elderberry syrup! An hour ago I ate a piece of toast with some Elderberry jam on it and got my dh to have some as well. And with in 30 minutes I fell WELL! I am drinking a cup of coffee that I have wanted for the last 2 days!

I have an appointment next month. I really need to get the teeth and jaw checked due to the meds but I don't think they are doing much about prevention. I need to talk to them and if not, reschedule.

I was there in Feb to get a filling replaced but nothing since then. Maybe I'm just paranoid (or maybe there really is somebody following me) but I'd rather risk a decay then Covid right now.

DH and I are trying to hard to be careful. Just can't play Russian Roulette with my health and potentially with my life.

Did a quick last candling of Screeches two eggs. All look good to go and she is clucking to them so hatch time is here.

Yesterday's lightening storm, and power outage, not only killed a TV (the one for the security cameras), but it took out an ethernet switch box. The switch box, ties in all our Ubiquity antennas, and the security cameras, into our ethernet (WiFi). It took several hours, to track down the exact problem. The company has been contacted, and it's being RMA'd back to them. We should have another one in a few days, then we will send this one to them.

In the meantime, we went to pick up my grand from kindergarten, then went to get her some new shoes. After that, we headed to Wally world, to get the items on her list of needed school supplies. While there, I got another TV.

They have a heck of a deal going on with Vizio tv's right now. For example, a 65" 4K UHD, for $468.00. I know that's not one of the top brands, but it's not the lowest end brand either. When reviewed by sources I trust, the Vizio - V series did well, when compared to the pricier top brands of the same type. The ones that cost over $1,000.00 is because of the panel used for the screen. The ones on sale now, for the better price, use a TN panel, which was the best available, for years. Recently they've begun using what is called an ISP panel, but they're expensive. The difference in the panels, is what you see when viewing from an angle. In the normal living room setting, you are in front of, or a bit to the right/left of the screen. If you move too far left/right of the screen, you will see more yellows, and blues. If your kitchen is off to one side of the living room, for example, and you're watching tv while cooking supper, you probably won't see the best color reproduction. The new ISP panel, corrects that. You can look at it from almost any angle, and the colors will remain accurate. That was one of the selling points for Plasma TV's. For the average home, a TN panel will be just fine, and if you're considering a new TV, take advantage of the lower pricing.

BTW, You can name your router. Sometimes the installer will ask, and put your name, on it, so when you want to connect your phone, tablet, laptop, etc., it will be easy to find. They can put your last name, ie Bradley, Thomas, or just leave it alone, and it will say the router number, like FIOS UX398.

I admit that sometimes I have a peculiar sense of humor. Last year, we renamed our router to FBI 5G, and FBI Van 2.4G. A couple weeks later, at one of, what I call a tractor meet, (where all the neighbor men are out on their tractors, and congregate to talk) the topic came up that that the FBI was watching someone. They were speculating as to who it might be. Maybe the people over there were drug dealers, or maybe the new people that moved in over yonder were in a theft ring, etc. Finally Dh told them it was our router. When our system went down, and my tablet was searching for available networks, it was interesting. Along with our FBI network, we now have ToiletPaperPolice, OuthouseInspector, GoAway, and BigBelly networks in the area.
