The Old Folks Home

When I meet my son's fee -on -say, am I supposed to shake hands with her or hug her, or something? I am lacking social skills. With my LONG white hair, I look like Grandma ma from the Munster's old show. Hope I don't frighten her.

Ask your son...

People nowadays are so crazy... it has nothing to do with your social skills, it is just that there is no longer any "norm" to follow.

Y'know, Covid covers a lot of awkward situations, almost as many as it creates. Hugs are dreadfully unsanitary things, touching elbows or a fist bump are much "safer," and can be suggested with a sort of laughing apology that hopefully can act as an ice breaker. 🤔
