The Old Folks Home

I spent the best part of last night in the hospital, I was having palpitations so I figured the best thing to do was go to the hospital. Wrong. We got there at 12:30, and the doctor didn't see me until 5 am. It was ridiculous. Made me wish I had just stayed home.
So the outcome is I get to wear a monitor for a week.
Sorry Cap, was sleeping when you posted so only just catching up now; I hope you feel better very soon :hugs

I love beans of all shapes and sizes, and am a soup fan too. I have a great recipe for Boston baked beans, to which we add grilled coarse pork & caramelized onion sausages for a really hearty autumn/winter meal. My chickens like pulses too, esp black eyed beans and (newly discovered) pigeon peas. They are a good protein source.

Last Christmas I was given a 'Saute and soup' pot, which saves needing a blender for cream soups, and does the cooking, stirring, timing and blending automatically, after I've done the saute stage with the top off. It's perfect for up to three portions - might suit you @sourland ...?
