The Old Folks Home

Perris, for the record, I've read all the literature regarding the vaccine. Her doctors have too, I'm sure. I am not positive that she didn't go anywhere after being tested, to the time she got the vaccine, but she did not go anywhere from the time she got the vaccine, nor did she allow anyone into her place to help her, until 3 days after being vaccinated, when the ambulance took her, and she was admitted to the hospital.

On another note, Dd #2 goes back to college for her nursing this month.

Well I hope she gets better soon Clue.
Thank you.

On another note, I ran into an accidental, pleasant, discovery. I like Mini MAGlites. My very old one, got to where it was somewhat intermittent, so I headed to Wally World to get a new one. Dh, and Dd have them too, so I was looking for a color neither of them had. There wasn't any selection as to color, they had a green colored one. On the package it said MAGLite Pro. Inside was the typical cord, a slide on clip like a pen clip for a pocket, 2 color discs, one blue, one red, and a black multi sided sleeve, that goes over the end of the light to hold the discs over the light. You know, crap that you keep in case you ever want to use it, but never use.

I had never seen one that came with the sleeve, and colored discs. I popped the black multi sided sleeve over the end of the light WITHOUT a colored disc. Because of the faceted sides, it stops the light from rolling around. Nifty. Well, today we were working in the coop, and I collected eggs. Dh mentioned that the one hen had been sitting on the one nest for a couple weeks, and I probably had chicks in the eggs. I knew better, but decided to candle the eggs for good measure. I grabbed an egg, and the new Maglite, then set the egg on it, to see if I could see anything.

To my surprise, that sleeve allows the egg to set on the light perfectly. It makes a fantastic egg candler. (If the egg touches the lens, pull the sleeve out just a hair) Due to that little gizmo, my favorite flashlight is now a fantastic egg candler too.

Actually my favorite candler is also a little flashlight...
