You have trout lilies and I have violas running rampant in front of the house. I'm leaving them there and encouraging them with leaves I rake over them to be part of a natural look.

Our first wild flowers here in the spring are Dutchman's Breeches and Spring Beauties which should make an appearance next month.

These are spring Beauties. They grow in the timber along with the Dutchman's Breeches in the picture below.

Then we have wild clover and wild petunias

along with Butterfly Weed which I don't understand why they call this beautiful wild flower a weed.

and lots and lots and lots of Chickory.
