I have been on since it started after a Mothers day hatch a long
cool lot's of changes since then
I put this in the Okies thread but thought some of the OF's would like it as well.
The hatchery is likely adding this because some hatcheries have been sending out chicks infected with salmonella.
Some of their customers became ill.
There is a lot to be said for hatching out your own from clean flocks!
Because we're all getting older. I didn't mean to; it snuck up on me and just kind of happened.
It does sneak up on us!
Youth is fleeting but old age goes on forever! Plus we are like a great pot of stew. It gets better the more it is seasoned!
We love newcomers here. Young members in their thirties will discover this thread when they hit 50.
Most of us will probably still be here. We won't remember how to type on a keyboard or remember what a chicken is but we will be around!

Most of us are 60 + least us not forgot that group too
All internet in our area is out. When that happens, I can usually get on my tablet, or phone with 5G. Even the internet part of our 5G was down. At least the 5G is fixed now. They hope to have the rest working by Sunday
