That is quite a bit of work!Well, we've earned our keep today. We took off all 3 slider doors, put in a new ridge cap on the bottom of the one we use most. Went to Lowes to get new wheels, but they didn't have the size we needed, so we swapped the wheels from the one we never use, which are new, to the one we use most, then put the worn ones on the door we never use. A good cleaning with Windex inside and out, and it's like brand new. It sounds easy, but it's a LOT of work. The doors are specialty glass that's hurricane, and seriously impact resistant. That makes them extra heavy.
We have Natural gas here for the kitchen oven. The water heater and central heat are natural gas too.propane for kitchen stove only, electric hot water, wood stove for home heating, 1 window a/c in living room/great room for really hot days, swivel fan in bedroom
Just got a letter from Consumers Energy that from 1 June to 30 September, electric rates will be 1.5x from 2 to 7 pm. Might be thinking more seriously about solar or wind energy.I hear the cost of electrical is going to go wayyyyyyyyyyyyy up.
