Anyone had occasion to check the price on rental cars lately?

Heard about that and new cars also

Anyone had occasion to check the price on rental cars lately?

I know a friend of mine normally rents a car to drive from Jacksonville FL down here to Tampa to see me, and complained that the prices were so high, she couldn't afford it. She brought her cousin, and they drove down in her cousin's car. Prices weren't discussed, but I know they had to be very high for her to be unable to rent one.

I've got to say that I LOVE the larger monitor. When I first set it up, of course the icons, etc., were teeny tiny. I right clicked on the screen, the clicked on Display Settings, scrolled down a little to Scale and Layout. I bumped that number up to where I could see everything just fine. I remember having to do that with my other monitor. I think I had it at 125%. On this one, it's at 225%. What a difference that one setting makes on these old eyes.

Usually rent and drive to Florida. Would have been nice this yr with Disney only half full but we skipped it.

Skipped vacation or any fun this last yr. With the government forking over tons of $ for our family of six and DW making over twice her normal income on unemployment we've paid off some bills.

This will be the first year we're not going to Hawaii because of Covid-19.


Normally we don't go cause we can't afford it.
