The Old Folks Home

Its one of those morning that roll from one thing to another and before you know it its almost 11am and your still in your JP's.
I needed to move the freezer and recheck if there was water underneath. Its a chest freezer. So I asked Grandpa if he could hold up before he gets out the door and busy, So I moved it and yep, there was some damp condensation under it. So I emptied it and we moved it to the porch.

I think I will make some coffee and go get dressed now Lolololol

The youngest grand graduated from VPK this morning. It was really great. Not nearly the production as with the others. What made it great was that every kid knew every word to both songs, and participated. Every kid knew every dance move to go with it. They were totally in sync.

Grandpa took her to school, then went to get her a stuffed animal, and some roses. The rest of us got ready, then stopped on the way to get a couple bouquets of flowers too. She said she wanted to eat sushi, so afterward we headed to our favorite sushi restaurant to eat. We all have had a great day. It's already up to 94 degrees out, and it's HOT. The animals have been fed, and watered. The coop fans are on. Everybody, both human, and animal is sort of lazing around.

@Alaskan, I'm always impressed by your photographs of God's Country. Who needs an eclipse when you have mountains and breathtaking scenery right outside your door.

Okay @penny1960. Rub it in, LOL. I think it was up to 86 here today for the high. But HUMID!

My oops for the day. Accidentally left my clothespin bag out on my clothesline three days ago. It got rained on, waited for it to dry. Went out today to hang up some blankets I washed, reached in and encountered a birds nest. I knew there was a jenny wren hanging around but didn't know where they were nesting, Looked in, yep, full of sticks and twigs. Couldn't even find the clothespins at the bottom so I dumped the bag in the grass. OOPS. Egg in it, now broken. No incubation showing in it yet but small consolation.

Needless to say, the clothespin bag came inside.

Up to 26 Carpenter bees. I think I'm getting the jump on them.
