Sorry something my Dad always said, never heard drier than a camel fart, dad always said drier than a popcorn fart.
Both sound pretty dry to me :lau
The air escaping from the kernel when it pops would have been more obvious when popping the whole cobb in a fire place!

Older generations would have seen this more.:gig

Watch what you eat before you go to bed. That can be reflected in your fasting blood sugars. Nothing after dinner except raw veggies. Seriously!

Point: where I used to work, the nurse I worked with second shift used to say that she didn't know what was going on with her diabetic patients, all of their fasting blood sugars were high. Controlled during the day but that AM blood sugars were always elevated. One night while waiting to give report to the third shift nurse, we noticed that she was getting out peanut butter sandwiches. My friend asked her what she was doing and she told us that a few of the diabetics were complaining to her that they were hungry so she gave them pb or cheese sandwiches. Other nurse told her to stop it and why. Luckily none of my diabetic patients were complaining but.......

So watch what you eat for dinner, portion size, good carbs only. Stick to your calorie count and see what happens to your AM blood sugars.

Afternoon all. 49 degrees here. Not Mayish/Memorial Day-ish at all but like all of these spring burps it will pass.

Spent the morning madder than a wet hen. One of the members of one of the HAM clubs we belong to decided to set up a email account on dodo for the club. Gave out all of our email addresses without permission. Sure enough. First email we received had spam attached to it. I went postal on him. Managed to keep it nice. Told him he didn't have permission from us to give our emails to a third party server and delete them immediately.

Assured that he did but I have the feeling that the horse has long galloped out of the barn.:rant

@drumstick diva ! Good hearing from you!

Your goddog is turning into a real character. He has a doggy seat belt harness that he loves to wear. We call it his Super Dog costume. Told DH that we need to get a picture of him in it so I can send it to you. Funny to watch him because all you have to do is pick it up and hold it up and he is sticking his head into it. Problem is he is turning into a butter ball. We've already had to let it out once!

It seems that Dr.s are more focused on AC1 now instead of blood sugar levels.
