We finally got a bit of rain this evening. We've been needing it so bad.

Don't pray too hard for rain, hurricane season starts today

Most of them.

I can't imagine anyone deployed in a combat zone comes back unaffected. Just the stress must take a toll.

About to break a few records ... just starting the day waking up putting feet on the floor is tha first step huh

Yes, as it is, I let them out in the fenced barnyard with the youngsters. But prefer to give them their own space.

The three hatchery birds left are as large as the silkie now. Will leave them up there till same size as most then move them to main coop

All the garden starts are out of the dog crate I use as a brooder. Getting ready for chicks on Saturday!

G'Day OF. Been on the phone with IRS then my bank for over 2 hours looking for my 3rd check. Have to call IRS again tomorrow to put a tracer on it. What a boondoggle.

About to brave going outside to clean coops but think the socks need to be removed first .. We are heading to 90 degrees this Old Lady prefers 75

We did finally get the third check. The second one was missed because the IRS did not finish our taxes!

We did get it back as a tax credit though
