bruceha, you hit the nail on the head. No fallen trees on any of the roads coming home, this time.

Yes it rained. Yes, it was on the windy side, and there were some gusts. No, it wasn't nearly as bad as predicted. Dh works in Tampa, and he said it didn't get bad there either.

Maybe it has something to do with them declaring a state of emergency so far ahead of the event. Does that open up extra funding, that wouldn't normally be available?

My doctor's appointment went well. I told him about the disastrous appointment with the rheumy. His response was well you were the first person I referred to her and it looks like you will be the last. I don't think he was too happy with the way I was treated. He was working with a student and there was a three way conversation going on about how doctors need to treat patients in their care like human beings. He's still determined to find a good rheumatologist for me and told the student that I definitely have more going on than osteoarthritis.

Got a stem to stern adjustment from feet to the top of my head. Labs ordered for later on in the month and Dexa Scan on board. Like I told them. Covid isn't going away, my rotten bones aren't going away so let's just do it and get it over with.

Plus the big green boat anchor sitting in the pasture was finally repaired.

All in all a good day...and I'm tired.

micro, that's good news. Hopefully he will find a great rheumy for you. Glad he's not referring anyone else to her. The adjustment should help, when it stops hurting. Glad to hear the big green boat anchor is working now.

Dh got his upgrades installed into his computer case. I showed him how to use a few of the programs, and he's totally updated, and optimized. He's happy, and still playing with his "new" toy. OHHHH, I changed the sheets, and washed his comforter last night, so when he got home this morning, he was a very happy camper. (Yes, I do this regularly, but he swears he gets a better night's sleep when I first change them.

Micro, I am so glad your doctor listened to you. It sounds like he's a good one. And I'm glad he

told the student that I definitely have more going on than osteoarthritis.
