That is what it is supposed to do, it is an immune system suppressant. DW is on it for her RA. Thus we really don't know how effective the Pfizer vaccine was on her and are still being careful since 27% of the state's population who are old enough to get vaccinated have chosen not to do so.

All Covid restrictions were lifted a month ago. Cases of Covid going up, 99% of them in the unvaccinated. Daily cases going up, hospitalized numbers going up, ICU numbers going up, lost another person.

I don't down shift. I press the brake, put in the clutch, take the car out of gear, let out the clutch, and slow to a stop. This is on dry pavement/our dirt back roads. In the winter, if it's slippery, I'll downshift instead of using the brake. Like on my driveway, coming down the curvy hill.

At a stop light, I have my foot on the brake only. When the light turns, I put in the clutch, put it first, and drive away. Yeah, I'm that annoying person in front of you, Mr. Impatient Guy who then passes me before the next light.

At least I'm starting to look the part of the little old lady driver.

That's the problem! It is getting soft and out of shape from being treated so gently. Grind those gears, ride that clutch!

The current (third in its life) clutch is still hanging in there at, oh, 30K miles. I've told it, "If you crap out too, the whole car will become scrap metal! It'll be the junkyard for every bit and piece in this old box!"
