ehh, you know, good days bad days. Today neck is killing me. I did a no no and looked straight up last night watching for Persied meteorites. Suffering today so I'm my own worse enemy sort of thing. Plus trying to get used to the new shoes which are noted for causing muscle pain until my body gets used to them.

I hear you about decisions. One reason why I didn't hatch chicks this year is because I don't need any more birds right now and in fact need less birds to take care of. Same reason I decided no in ground garden next year, just raised beds and only a few of those.

I have to admit I am enjoying the less stress and making time to enjoy the birds I have, especially the bantams. They always make me laugh.

Now if the rat that has tunneled under my coop would just eat the bleeping bait I tossed under there, life would be perfect.

Sorry that you still aren't feeling well but glad the ear infection isn't bothering you at the moment.

Afternoon everyone.

90s here for most of the week. Not too happy about it but it's the weather and better than 10 degrees and a -25 wind chill so I ain't complainin,........too much.

It was 98° this afternoon when I got up. Hubby helped me get the chicken tractor out of the barn, I hosed it down, cleaned it. Will spray for bugs once it's dry. These chicks in my bathroom need to be outside!

I shouldn't complain then. It was up 86 here with the humidity 72% but we just had rain and thunder storms roll in so it's more tolerable at the moment.

I have way more chickens than normal because it has been too hot for sales. Looking forward to the Glen Allen swap in September. These are Calico bantam cochins. And a few mottled cochins.
