Morning Old folks hot as hades here today we do not usually get this heat here ..
My Leghorns are still alive but not in the coop they are roosting up in the hazelnut bushes

He was on antibiotics for his teeth before all this started and the insurance process started then already. The insurance meeting will be in two weeks

God I hate insurance companies under normal conditions but I learned to truly detest them when I went to work with my husband.

I don't think there is a good and acceptable solution to them either. What is that old saying? Better the devil you know?

Afternoon everyone. Another stinking hot day here with low 90s expected. Storms this afternoon and tonight and then cooler.

In the meantime I'm trying to convince the rat tunneling under my coop that there is no rent moratorium in effect for the space under my coop and it will be evicted as soon as it eats the bait that I've been stuffing down it's tunnels.

good to hear the legs are back and safe, pushing 104 here on the southern area of the states, looking at a tropical storm over the weekend, more rain,

went to wally world this morning to pickup buckets for nesting boxes, buckets they have lids they don't stock anymore, not the stores fault it's the big wigs in corperate, letter to wally world again, guessing I'll get banned again for a month, hurts my feelings really bad

I use the tubs they sell cut out the front stick plywood on top between them as landing stip for higher I stack them 2 high

looking at the garden area, last night time to put it to use 1/3 to 1/4 acaer ( how ever you spell it) repair on the fence, new gates, and add electric fence, would make a good run area, plus the birds would turn the soil over time.
