The Old Folks Home

After our trip to the coast, my left knee has an arthritis flair up. I went to urgent care this morning and will be back for an NSAID shot tomorrow. I have an Ortho appt. on Friday the 27th now too.

The flair up will likely be over by then of course....

Ron, I hope the flair up is over within the next minute. Wishful thinking, but I can wish.
Thanks!

It was really bad Saturday and Sunday. It is a bit better today so hopefully on the way back to normal arthritis pain LOL!

Ahhhh Toradol the Jack Daniels of injectable NSAIDS.

Hope it knocks the pain for you Ron. I usually get it with a Prednisolone chaser.

@getaclue congratulations to your daughter. She has worked hard for this and so has her 'support team' mom.

I'm debating on whether or not to go out and do some mowing. Did some this morning after DH and I went out to saw off a trunk left from a big tree harvest a few years back. It's about 3.5 feet tall and more than 29" across. We thought it would make a good platform for the cattle dogs to play on.

When we went to close the back yard gate we heard something squealing under the gate. I hastily moved it and there in the deep grass was an adorable baby bunny. Barely fit in the palm of my hand. Little guy was so freaking cute. He ran into the back yard and I caught him. Not a safe place for a little guy like him. I got to spend some time petting him and examining his little feet and managed to find his nest. I think one of our other dogs got it's sibs but I was able to put the nesting material back in the nest along with bun bun. Went back an hour later to check on him and he was out of the nest and no where to be seen.

It's been a crazy summer here starting in May with Sidney getting sick and dying, DH having more skin cancer surgery, me playing musical doctors trying to get treatment for my feet. This little boy sure did brighten my day.

Hoo Hoo, we are escaping the majority of the storm here.. A few spritzels and a bit of wind but that's it! I'm just west of Andalusia.

Sometimes life can throw something adorable your way that brings a moment of joy. I had so many of those moments with Baby Jay and his antics.
