The Old Folks Home

Yupp when you wake it's a good one :)
As my grandmother used to say, I didn't find my name in the obits so I'm great. She lived to 101!
Morning OF. I'm a bit late but was taking care of 'stuff'. Sandra came by and we visited all the pens, learning who's who in the world of chickens. She likes the way I have things set up, and how I'm keeping up with the breeding. She took the crippled bantam boy with her. She's helping one of the neighbors round up a heifer he hasn't seen in a couple of months on his place. He's also the neighborhood euthanasia man. Got something that needs put down and he's there. Bye bye, little guy. On a good note, I picked up a customer for eggs.
Sandra wants a couple dozen a week. Yippeeeeeeee!
Hope everyone has a great day.

Have never bought chicks or from a hatchery. Yes have hatchery hens but bought them at a feed store here
I trust the hatchery to sex more accurately than I trust the feed store employees not to mix up the sexed chicks.

It arrived today, and I have to admit, I'm glad I was forced to upgrade.
Did you get a few extra wheels so you don't have to worry in the future?
