It's going to be a great day! I'm going to get some leaves raked up, even if they're wet and messy. Tomorrow is my day to finish that job, if I don't get it all done.

Also going to go to the store. I used to go on the weekend, but it's a zoo, people are rude, and the store is under-staffed. I talk to some of the cashiers, and the stories they've told me of what has happened to them....! Stuff thrown at them. Grabbed by the arm. One woman got sprayed with bleach (!)

I have worked in retail. When I go to any store these days, I bring my patience and try to be "the nice customer" who smiles and is easy to work with.

Toasty! Well, not for you! We aren't even going to hit 40°F today, might get to 50°F on Thursday which would be good. I have some interior window trim I need to urethane before I install it and the workshop in the barn would be a MUCH better place for that than the basement.

Not as chilly overnight as the night before, and warming up nicely. Just got back from Piggly Wiggly with a load of meat and a few other items. Then it was on to TSC where I stopped to get scratch grains for the kids and treats for the Gator Tator. I noticed Dumor hen layer crumbles has gone up a dollar a bad, still $17 isn't bad. Everything is unloaded and put away. @silverhair67 at least it didn't get below freezing down there. So I can't tease you with a snowman. We rarely get a dusting of snow here. In 2014 there was an ice storm that left some whiteness all over. Not looking for a repeat performance. @Sally PB you can always come here and help me rake leaves. The pecan tree in the back of the house is nearly done shedding leaves, the one on the east side has barely started. Then there are two oak trees in the front. The live oak won't even begin to shed until spring.

There are high winds here today so the only leaves I will have left are those jammed into corners. The rest of the leaves are on a high speed journey in the direction of the state of Maryland- unless they they get stuck in someone else's corner first!
