The Old Folks Home

gonna give the egg shell baking a try I'll blame it somebody in here not saying who though:hmm
Ya know, I visited a friend's house once a long time ago, and noticed egg shells baking on top of a wood burning stove. I asked my friend's mother why bake egg shells.. She told me she fed them to the chickens for not only calcium but other minerals. I've since read that same on other websites and you can actually put them in a coffee grinder to make powder (that smells like it does when having a tooth drilled) to add to breads and other foods as an excellent for of calcium and minerals. Better than calcium from shellfish by 1000%

Interesting! Do you have some links you could share? I'd like to read more on this.

Here late tonight. It was a pretty day. No winds for a change, lots of sunshine and temps in the 50s. I was busy all day but darned if I know what I was busy doing although I did get vacuuming done and generalized household drudgery sort of cleaning accomplished.

I also finally got a look at my CT scan that I had done on the 8th. Kinda funny and interesting reading. At 68 my body has had it's share of wear and tear not to mention occasional trips to the repair shop and things like gall bladder removal along with appendix.

Still it was fun going through my various organ reports and going, WOW! How did that happen? And WHAT? I didn't know I had that along with HMMMMM...what caused THAT!?

Only major surprise was that I have a severely degenerated disc at the L3 L4 level. Wasn't expecting that and the colitis/gastritis was worse than I expected. But I knew I have degenerative disc disease. I just didn't know it was severe.

It's just really interesting all the little imperfections and internal scars you can have and be completely unaware of them or how they happened.
