The Old Folks Home

Yep, I do have trouble remembering what day of the week it is! That happens when you have no set schedule and don't go "off farm" but once or twice a week.
For me it's:
The day DH goes back to work; grocery shopping (Monday)
Feed the sourdough; tacos for dinner (Tuesday)
Maybe go to chiro, depending on the week; spaghetti for dinner (Wednesday)
Bottle Kombucha (Thursday)
Brew a new batch of tea for Kombucha (Friday)
DH is home all day (Saturday and Sunday)

When he retires in 8 months, then I'll get more confused.

I hope he has a hobby.

Gawd I love this fluffy lil butt!

Had to set up an emergency hospital room in the big pen. I thought it strange that Maggie allowed me to rub her chest, then went on to climb right on to my hand. So I was checking her out and found a huge gash (deep) under her wing. It was clean and dry but holy cow you could fit an egg in there. So, I got the hospital cage and set it up in the run for her where she would be comfortable and filled the hole with Bag Balm, just like I did Margaret when that happened to her. Maggie settled right in to her digs, and Bruce hops up on the board next to the cage to visit and see how she's doing. Once she's accustomed to her small space, I'm going to move her into the hoop coop with King Wheaties and his ladies. She's either his grandmother or great aunt so it's a suitable match and he's much smaller than Bruce. Margaret is in with King Wheaties as well. Margaret is an Aunt, Sara his mother.. so it's one big happy family.
