I am so glad that you can be there with her.

It is sad, and difficult, but good to be there.

The discoloration is probably pooling blood.... things not working anymore as everything shuts down.

Yeah, since i am a nurse, that's what i figured.

I'm so sorry, Cap. No matter how old you are you are never ready to say goodbye to your parents.

I suspect her soul has already started that journey home and her body has yet to catch up.

Cap . .it's hard for sure. I was there when my mother passed. She was only 74. It sounds like your mom isn't in pain now.
