Morning Old Folks still in the 20's here foot and half of snow .. hot coffee

They are saying 2 to 6" of snow here, but 40s. How does that work? We have not had any stick to the ground snow yet.

We have the 43 right now. Snow seems to be leaving fast
Guess I will go see how my birds are handling this.

Hi all.

We got about 5 inches of snow here yesterday with a lot of wind blowing it around. But I have to admit that it looks pretty outside. The amazing thing is how many fox prints are in the snow. None around the coop. The birds are locked up but they sure are using the property as a transit point.

Temp was -3 and the high 13 supposed to be the same tonight and tomorrow hopefully a little warmer.

We got word yesterday that friends have Omega. Fully vaccinated. Full precautions including masks but the grandkids were there for Christmas and they were the first ones to show symptoms. Stay safe everyone and don't assume that you are protected.

I forgot! Yesterday was the Cattle Dogs' third birthday. They have come a long way with a long way to go yet but I am pleased with their progress. Who would have ever thought we could get them to do this?

Left to right, Diesel, Varn, Ben and Rocki. They will sit and stay on command. Left over 'birthday pizza' is great motivation.
