The Old Folks Home

Did she burn the house down and rebuild? I can't imagine getting that off "texture"
I happened to be visiting when this happened. I was perhaps 12 years old. Sister opened bed room when she heard son waking from nap. I heard her scream, and then the 'smell' permeated the house. I believe she scrubbed the wall with Chlorox, but the stench remained. I can't remember what the final resolution was. They did sell the house. :lau

I painted the walls with lipstick when the babysitter wasn't looking!
DD2 painted on the wall next to the booth at a truck stop. She used ketchup. DW was looking the other way doing something with DD1 and I had gone to the buffet. I think DD2 was MAYBE 3 at the time.

Then another time i took a butcher knife and carved a pumpkin. I think i was 5 at the time.
You've always been a creative builder!

I was working pediatrics one night where we were assigned this darling little two year old cherub who was one of these unfortunate kiddos that mommy would drop off and then we would have to call all over town when babykins was ready to be discharged in order to find mummy. Little one was just a doll and we all loved her dearly and gave her all the attention she wasn't getting at home whenever she was admitted....which unfortunately was often.

If nobody popped in to play with her ever so often she would take off her diaper and paint the wall, her crib, herself with it's contents and then sit in the middle of the bed and laugh her head off. Smooth walls, hospital quality paint that you could scrub with steel wool. The crib was the real challenge.

After a while we learned to pull her bed into the center of the room. Cut clean up time in half!

She is almost 50 years old now. I often wonder how she turned out.
