The Old Folks Home

Water table here must have really been low, I've never seen the water level subside so fast in 3 years.. Only mishap was my walking bridge moved down stream about 20' feet or so.. Kids moved to A Barracks survived just fine.

Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a great day. CS, glad your babies didn't flood.
Nope, I knew from experience that the water never reached that old dog pen. It's a tad soggy, but I turned that crew loose to go forage. They have plenty of room to move around their grazing area as the water has receded or soaking in fast this time. The kids out back in A Barracks are living high on the hog. I'm surprised there is still grass in there.

AS luck would have it, I didn't get to finish the drawbridge on B Barracks so I couldn't move Papi Bandit and his ladies out there. That's another thing I have to finish. Brought in the two big tubs that nesting boxes were sitting in out of the big round pen up front. I set the nesting boxes on top of the dog kennel in plain sight, but wouldn't you know it, had two hens battling over nesting rights in the dog kennel with KE in there mediating.
As for that little chit, I noticed he had one eye closed day before yesterday and I figured I now had a one eyed Roo. He must have gotten in to it with another roo that probably jumped the barrier. Fortunately I looked at him today and it's back open. He lucked out. He just doesn't know when to quit like most bantam roos.
