I gotcha, ya little bugger! Yesterday he was sitting up on the line that feed hangs from, but when I grabbed my camera, the battery was dead. My bad! So today, battery is all charged up and he's not staying put for very long.

They can be the dickens to photograph, that’s for sure!! I’m worried mine won’t like the dramatic change in our place from last year….no flowers, no idea where to hang their feeders yet.….the entire property is different now. I‘m imagining them shaking their little heads and flying right past me. <sigh>

I don’t remember if you knew @donrae (Rachel), an absolute gem of a person, but I used to post hummingbird photos on her “My Leukemia’s Back” thread almost every morning. And we do have a Hummingbird Haven thread on here too to share sightings and pictures.

Mine seem to be downing the new mix in their feeder by the gallons. I added a bit of Pomegranate Juice the first batch, and some 'Nakid' Berry Blast the second batch.

Can you believe 3 sisters from the same set of parents can have 3 so unique patterns in their feathers? Just amazing how genetics work. Ruffles, Lacy and Speckles.
