The Old Folks Home

We're working on the garden fence. We got 5 posts and 50 feet of fence in. This project is going to take at least two weekends, but it's going to look nice. And I think we can keep the deer out with it too.

Sure feeling it in my arms right now.
Is the fence 6 feet tall or more? Deer have terrific jumping ability.

I did a bullet run to Amarillo, TX to pick up a dog for the greyhound rescue group.
You are a good person Peep!

Cap asked about 6' I was going to ask about 7' because like she said, they can JUMP.

The alternative is two 4' fences spaced close enough together the deer won't be able to jump both and won't jump in between.

We have 8' of post above ground. One course of 4' fence at the bottom, with a no-dig apron below ground.

Above the fence, we're going to string wire from post to post. Two or three rows of wire with some flags so hopefully the deer will see the wire and realize they can't get through or jump over.

Some of the no-dig will be sheet metal, so maybe the grass roots won't get through either!

Sounds like a great fence!! :love

Dh surprised me yesterday. He had ordered some figures to go with my venus flytrap in the Mario Warp Pipe. It makes for the cutest display.
