Raining all day,we were in a drought. Much needed rain and reprieve from the heat.

I managed to get a few things done, but it's HOT out. I have to recoup after being out in the heat awhile.

I have one of those wicking towels that you get wet and wrap around your neck. I tuck the ends down inside the front of my shirt. Man, does that help! Between that and sweating, I'm soaked anyway. Evaporation is my friend!

I made a big batch of meatballs today. Invited my neighbor over for supper. The rest will go into the freezer for later use.

Good morning OF. Yesterday, I finally pulled all the owner manuals out of the glove box, and opened them. Until now, I've been watching youtube videos, as needed.

When we got the truck, I asked about my cupholder. The guy looked at me, and pointed to the cupholders, like I was dumb. I asked about the keypad entry code, and was assured it was in the glove box. Well, it wasn't there.

I called my sales guy, and told him the card with the keypad code was not in the glove box. He mentioned he was going to call me anyway, since my cupholder had finally arrived. He was a bit perplexed by it, since it should have already come with the truck. (I paid and extra $50.00 for that stupid cup holder.) He said he'd check my envelope. Nope, it wasn't in there, but there was a note that it had been put in the glove box. I assured him it was not there. He opened my file folder, to order another one, and when he did, there was my keypad card with the code. I'll go in Monday to get both items.
