The Old Folks Home

I confess, I had felt somewhat guilty that I did not prepare our Thanksgiving dinner, as usual. That was until today. I heated the oven to 400 like it said to, then began putting in each of the pans at the right time. Every 10 to 15 minutes, I'd put in a pan or 2 until they were all in. It served the 6 of us for both lunch and supper, with plenty of leftovers. It came with 2 pies too (we chose pecan, and pumpkin). Clean up consisted mainly of putting the covers back on the pans, and putting it in the fridge. As we eat all the stuff, the pans are to be tossed in the garbage can.

I won't do that for Christmas, but if we can afford it, I'll order from them next Thanksgiving.

One year, right after I had moved to Alaska, when we had a tiny house, tiny everything, (700 square feet house), and my parents came up for christmas, we hired a local chef to cook everything for us.

It was great!!! :drool
