Well this is fun. Hope you don't mind if I join this thread. Hoping to see some names from the past. Nothing against the young-in's but I've been surprised to see really, really young folks on BYC lately. I have to remember to check myself before I beat them up... Used to not even think about that. I actually changed my profile name because I started on here in 2009 as "unemployed chicken," haha. That was short lived, back to work after 6months. NOW looking at retirement, ah yes! It's kinda crazy to think it's been 20years of Chickening for me, about 14 years on BYC owing everything I know to the fine ole folks here

Morning Old Folks, making a cheesecake it is wet here. not actively just
wait 10.

SO true! I'm 2hours south of you. What was that tease we had last weekend? It's back to cold/wet. I didn't start seedlings this year, no reason just never felt motivated to do it. You must have some lovely sun if you can grow tomatoes. Jealous!

Welcome @SandyRiverChick ! Some of us have been around BYC awhile and others have just been around awhile . @TheDawg is a youngster that hangs out with us not-as-youngsters on occasion. All are welcome at The Old Folks Home!
Ranger broilers and layer chicks are doing great. It has been awhile since I’ve have broilers…forgot how much attention they require.

It rained earlier but is now sunny and windy…more rain this evening is forecast so trying to ”make hay while the sun shines”….for the younger crowd, not really making hay, just getting things done while I can.
