I didn't die, but the garden is trying to bury me. Peaches, pears, tomatoes, grapes all coming ripe at once. I count my blessings, though, because this was a brutal year with the extreme record-breaking extended heat. Most of my gardener friends threw in the towel. What has been growing best are the weeds.

Now that I'm officially a senior in the eyes of the govt, I've got an appointment with ortho doc for knee surgery consult next month. Gotta love Medicare! I'm still walking like a penguin. The good news is that there is no pain, just mobility issues... I think I ground all the nerve endings to smithereens.

Survived Covid easily, but the brain fog and insomnia are maddening.

That's about all that's new out here. Just came up for a little air before getting back to kitchen craft. Keep cool and carry on.

I went to the poultry auction in Chehalis here bought allot fabric.
No birds today.

I need to take some prime cockerels to our poultry action soon. I'm going to check it out next time it is chicken day and see if it is a doable thing for me.

We survived covid easily too only to be haunted by it 2 years later. Wife is on oxygen now for life.

I'm helping the Mrs with laundry now. It's hard for her with her back problems and dragging the Oxygen tube around too.

Lots of Sauce to make 2 boxes of roma's calling my name.
I am friends with the folks at the auction here.
DH had oxygen here at home after he had pneumonia.
Thank fully he did get to loose the it after a couple weeks.
