It's 82° and not even dark yet. Something must be wrong.

Hoping you get your power up before tomorrow. We used to have to run a generator after hurricanes and it was loud too.I need to pick tomatoes. I'll be canning tomorrow, by generator power again, if the power isn't back on. I'm thankful for the generator, but it. is. loud.
Looks like you will be on the east side of what is supposed to make landfall as a major hurricane. Winds of 110 or more. I think the last Hurricanes we will have to endure were Charley, Francis, & Jean that hit us almost back to back. Charley destroyed so much there wasn't much left for Francis and Jean to knock down. Lights only flickered with Jean. I hope that you are spared damage. I'm watching as we have family that could be effected right in it's path at the moment.Did a little shopping this morning. A hurricane might hit, and there were a few things I wanted to get. Started early enough, I got everything we wanted/needed. About an hour after I got to the grocery store, is when the crowds began pouring in. Local gas stations are having a hard time keeping up with the demand. Some are already out of gas. It's a good thing I filled up yesterday evening. So now, we're all swimming, listening to music, and waiting for the hurricane.

Hunker down or move out of the way and stay safe. This storm is no sissy and is looking to be a nasty one.Did a little shopping this morning.
