We had a brief monsoon deluge, but we're waaaay behind in this last month of the season.
Hope everybody weathers their weather.

Did a little shopping this morning. A hurricane might hit, and there were a few things I wanted to get. Started early enough, I got everything we wanted/needed. About an hour after I got to the grocery store, is when the crowds began pouring in. Local gas stations are having a hard time keeping up with the demand. Some are already out of gas. It's a good thing I filled up yesterday evening. So now, we're all swimming, listening to music, and waiting for the hurricane.

We are under out first fire watch with power outages tomorrow.

Yolo County says that 30 customers will be effected and they are close to the Coast range mountains.

I will be watching for alerts here but we will be fine.

I trust that all of our Florida friends are safe from this storm. Thinking of you all. Be safe.

I thought for awhile that we might get some wind and rain in the outer bands but no such luck now. The storm is tracking farther east closer to my sister-in-law.

We lost heat that was here.

I'm tired from the work I've done on the coops and the walking I've done too. I'm entitled to a nap. I'm going to take a nap.

I took that nap. One of the best in awhile. The rain started after I went down and that kept me asleep for 3 hours or so. I'd like to schedule one of those 7 days a week.
