It's that time again. I'm 6 minutes late from starting my afternoon nap. I earned it today as I got a lot of things done outside this morning. These cooler days are really appreciated.

Grandkids. That's why you will see me wearing headphones, A LOT. I can put my music, a movie, or a tv show on, and when they get loud, I turn up the volume to drown them out. When they get so loud they drown out whatever I'm listening to, that's the cue to step in, and quiet them down. At that point, I can find plenty of chores for them to do. Yeah, that gets them busy, separated, and quiet. It helps them remember to stay quieted down, or they won't like the consequences.
