The Old Folks Home

Soooo…. I forgot everything except the migraines. 🤣🤦‍♀️ forgot to ask about shots and eye exams and the application most importantly. Oh well, I go back in two weeks. And I see my psychiatrist next week so I can maybe ask him about the application. I did ask the check out lady about the eye thing though and the receptionist about my records. So I did get something done at least lol and he put me on meds for the headaches except I realized afterwards I’ve already been on that one for anxiety!! Oh well, I’ll try it again. I did seem to have less headaches on it.

We got in and out of the grocery store with less than $45.00. Miracle.
Many years I heard that some bigwig in Walmart said each person that walks into their stores every day spends on average $100 so employees were to look at each person that walks in as $100 bill. Pretty cold way to think about it but that's probably why they're rich and we aren't. I did my best ever since though to never hit $100 if I could help it.

I think that one of the best days of my life was when I handed my store keys back to them. Walmart that is. Mr. Sam personally was a great man. Good to his employees. Made millionaires out of cashiers. Wasn't greedy. When he passed on things changed.

$100 is my budget at the local grocery chain, Meijer. Usually I'm under, occasionally over. I'm aiming for a weekly average. And it's everything, not just food items.

I make exceptions for the limit when I find some things on sale. Like hubby's favorite beer, buy one get one 40% off. Check. 50 feet of garden hose for $20. Check. Something they often run out of, or that I haven't seen in a long time (canned ham, eg), check.

I'm on track for $4800 this year, which is $400 under. Check! :thumbsup
