The Old Folks Home

Yes! As we get more information, it looks like It would be more of a supervision change and I would stay in my current office.

I will likely stay another year now.
That's awesome! The longer you can stay, provided it's not adding more stress to your life, the better for your pension/IRA. I managed to work one extra year too at the PD and probably shouldn't have as it was very high stress. After I finally retired, a few months later ran into a small group of former co-workers who all came up to me to stare at me. They were saying I didn't even look the same anymore as I went backward about 10 years. One less year there may have made me 20 years younger. :lau

My DW should have worked one more year-- it would have mad a big difference in Her Pension.

Moving to the Dean's Office will help a lot with stress.

I too should have stayed on as a programmer/analyst at the college where I worked for more pension but I was so tired of the flack from stupid people in high places. When someone with a masters degree in education has to call IT to find out how to get a ? mark on a document they have been promoted to a level beyond there capability.

An interesting observation: My chickens usually freak out when anything new is added to their coops. When we added another higher level to their roosts, they wouldn't even go near it for at least a week. They did NOT freak out over the heaters being hung over their roosts, even though they were not turned on, and emitting heat. Wow.
Get silkies. They're too dumb to notice. ☺️

Oh man, I just said that about my little fluffy butts.
