Oh wow that’s cold! It was like 57 here on Saturday lol and now they’re saying it might be rain snow mix lolNope but it is going to be COLD Sat - Mon. Lows near or maybe below 0°F!!!!!
We were way above normal last week so I guess we have to pay for it by being way below next week.
Actually .... we aren't supposed to ask people's age on BYC. Mostly to protect the minors I think. So you did right!!

Yep, proven time and again the best way for a heavy person to gain weight is to go on a weight loss diet. Lose a lot of weight fairly quickly and you are almost guaranteed to gain it all back with interest.
Lose a little, let your body get used to the "new normal" so it doesn't go into "I'm starving must eat" mode. Then do it again, just like the 100 pound loss person.

Great advice.So, tell yourself you want to lose 5 pounds. And do that as many times as you need to/can/want to to get to the weight you want to be.
Any excess weight that you lose will help your body in many ways! Your joints will thank you, your heart will thank you. So will your liver and pancreas.
Saying, "I want to lose 70 pounds" is a daunting task! Five pounds is a very realistic goal.
