The Old Folks Home

Carbonated drinks aren't good for anyone. They leech calcium from the body (bones, teeth), quickening the onset of Osteopenia, and Osteoporosis, and contribute to dental issues.
My mother drank Coke since she was a teen. She had osteoporosis and osteoarthritis at a young age (40s). A physician I worked for explained to me why my mother probably developed issues so young.

Carbonated drinks contain phosphorus. Your body needs to balance calcium and phosphorus so if you consume a lot of soda, your body will release calcium from your teeth and bones until the phosphorus and calcium are in balance.

What if you also drink tons of milk/eat a lot of cheese/dairy and other calcium? Doesn’t that balance it? Lol

They contribute to your daily requirement. Water hydrates good, and the body knows exactly what to do with it.

Doing well! We had a sunny day, so I spent some time outside and enjoyed it.

One of my pullets is named Sunny, and she sat on my lap while I visited the chickens this afternoon.
Sunny is my Papillon. Sunshine is more formal.
