I have all my tomato in ground the ones I use for sauce we have a vegetable shop we go to. He brings roma tomatoes cases of them.
My time is valuable I buy up to 6 cases add to what I grow of maybe 2 cases.

Good morning old folks. Out side of chicken chores it's a day of rest today. That's a benefit of the rain today.

Okay, lets start a discussion. I have 45 or so chickens and three guineas. I want everything else I see, goats, geese, llamas, donkeys. I am conflicted between my love of my animals and the concessions my family has to make for me to have them. There is the time I must devote to them, the money I spend that could be put elsewhere and the emotional attachment I develope. Is there anyone else who worries that they are not being fair to the rest of the clan?

Hey, yourself Bunny! Yes, it has been a while. You know exactly why I am trying to start this thread up. That other thread where I met/got to know you was so much fun, and I really miss you and about 4 or 5 others, but I found that I was losing my patience with some of the younger ones. It's great to see you here and when you are PMing those elder ones, invite them to subscribe.

Not really, it's just me and my husband and almost 20 years. I've gotten him hooked on animals too. I also prefer animals over most people anyway. At least you know what they are after, ok food mostly, but hey that's easy to understand. I'm happy to see something for "old folks", lol. As I am one now.

I did make a trip into town for essential items that either I was out of or needed. Now I have time for the scheduled nap. Took a glucose test and it was great and so was the BP. It's a good day.

For Regular shopping it is best for us to wait until Wednesdays as that is the beginning of the sale week for our stores. Otherwise they often sell out of something we could use.

DH and I like to go early when we do.
I have bought dog food at Costco for years recently there is a huge amount of dust on it.
This bug the heck out me not sure why.
