Did I tell you folks I sold all of my goats , and only have 3 chickens left?

Are you getting out of livestock permanently or just taking a year or two off to travel?

I rehomed my chickens after two raccoon attacks. We had a trip to Hawaii planned with our grandkids and no way could I leave a chicken sitter with that horrid situation.

I will need to do some rethinking about the chicken quarters, meanwhile we’re going to travel a bit while we’re still walking.

It was a rough decision for me and i miss them terribly! But I don’t miss them getting picked off!

How have you been, and who are you missing?

I should have said I haven't been on in 5 years. Since my wife died. Total I've been a member for 17 years. There are some I wonder about, though I don't know their BYC names. Sam from Deruyter. Tab from Rome, Speckled hen from Georgia, Claudia from Alabama, Sue from Alaska. I was also apart of the Granny Square Swap. Gramma Chick. Looking forward to making new friends and keeping the old.
