Good morning Old Folks still doing by three here.
Up early 7 said no way got it to shut off.
Crawled out at 9 went let birds out had two dogs out.
Let the other two out opened coops.
Rain is soft but still wet.

We were far enough from the earthquake on Thursday that I did not feel it.

Good morning, OF. Supposed to be a moderate sort of day here.

Good Morning Old Folks. We should see the mid 60's today under a cloud cover. Short term weather will be moderate temps with a lot of rain moving in by tomorrow evening if the forecast is more than what a chicken knows.

The weather forecast is no longer easy to read and understand here when on the same page it is calling for a high of 65° and another place on the same page it is calling for a high of 70°. Well it is 68° so it is in between and I guess they will say they were spot on.

The heavy rain that was forecast for tomorrow has missed us, thank goodness. A friend is coming to visit and help hubby change the hydraulic fluid in our plow. (We bought the plow from him.)

Strangely enough (to us, anyway; turns out it's not really), it's a special transmission fluid, not hydraulic fluid.

Weather is reporting light rain when it wasn't enough of a sprinkle to get the chickens attention or mine. Now they are calling for a flood watch...

Good evening old folks, was a beautiful sunny, no wind day of 72. Spent a lot of time outside, chickens got more range time than normal. Eighties for next two days then plummeting to a freeze warning for two nights. Roller coaster ride.
