Morning Old Folks busy as heck yesterday, Glad not so busy today.

I got two containers out to fill with cookies for us, about half of what I baked.

Dinner will be roast beef for DH and a roast Cornish Game Hen for myself. Think I'm going to try to make a beet salad that one of DH's pen pals over in Russia sent him the recipe to last year. It's simple yay but thought it would be something different to try.

Desert will be Cookies and I'll make a pumpkin custard tomorrow. Pie crust gives us both indigestion so we forego it for the custard which is delicious with whipped cream.

Hope everyone has their shopping and wrapping done and can sit back and enjoy the next two days.

Good morning, OF. Needless to say, I still have to wrap stuff. Way back when, we actually used to put up the tree, wrap, assemble on Christmas Eve after the kids went to bed. That was insane and was soon stopped.
